ITRI Leads Tainan Enterprises to VietnamPlas, Promoting Taiwan’s Premium Products and Services

The Tainan City Government has commissioned the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to implement the 2025 Global Trade Expansion Project. From September 17–20, ITRI will lead eight outstanding local enterprises to showcase at the Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition (VietnamPlas) at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Booth A130 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Adopting a “Exhibition + Business Matchmaking + Industrial Visits” three-in-one strategy, the initiative highlights Tainan’s innovation and builds direct connections with global buyers. Vietnam, one of ASEAN’s fastest-growing manufacturing hubs, has rapidly rising demand for plastics and rubber, making this exhibition a prime platform for collaboration.

The participating companies cover plastics, rubber, screws and barrels, recycling, and smart management systems, reflecting strengths in circular economy and ESG practices. ITRI emphasized that VietnamPlas serves as both a gateway for Tainan industries to expand internationally and an ideal opportunity for global buyers to connect with trusted Taiwanese partners and explore new business opportunities.
